"Very friendly and helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast were very good (choice, portions, and taste). We found the options of rolls with drinks at breakfast a great cost effective option for those with smaller appetites and the kids. Plenty of parking. I think it could be useful to include a breakfast menu card in the room as that would allow guests to recognise the options and value available. Very nice area with large park area next to the hotel. We were in one of the annex rooms on the upper...

"Great place, great facilities, staff helpful. Difficult at times to get served in the dining room."

"This property is central to the town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good and it is excellent value for money. We are booked to go again in December."

"Quick easy check in. Clean hotel. Breakfast service perfect. Very helpful staff. Great hotel overall"

"It was great"

"Our last meal at Dalmahoy gave us food poisoning before 10+ hours of air travel. We won't be going back. It is a health hazard and Dalmahoy has a responsibility to ensure safe food for its guests. It was a real damper to the end of our vacation."

"Lovely variety of breakfast dishes to choose from 😊 Reception staff were very helpful organising taxi service for us."

"Staff friendly. Room clean. Bar poorly stocked. Breakfast too expensive at £24pp so ate out. Overall the Hotel is looking neglected and lost its prestigious ambiance. No Elemis products in the bathroom and room service on request. We are returning guests however judging on this stay would not recommend."

Because we booked through Expedia, we were told we would have to pay extra for use of the leisure facilities. The place looks tired and in need of some care and attention. All that said, a great location. And a tip, if you are going to need car parking, book it online ahead of time and it'll cost half to a third what the hotel will charge you."

"Great location and a stunning castle view. Staff were great."

"This is a great hotel to stay at everything about it was at excellent or better - they had a gym, room fixed everyday, the staff were so so helpful, it is walking distance from the airport I arrived around 8:30pm at Edinburgh airport after a few queries I walked down to the hotel and the staff set me up in my room within 30 mins and the tram and buses to the city centre leave from the airport ever 10 minutes or less, truly at great spot to stay - very funky, the best hotel I have stayed in in my...
