"Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. "I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay."

"Friendly and helpfull staff 24hr front desk. Basic Breakfast available however other places inside service station and a starbucks or greggs just down the road. Lunch and evening meal menu available or again can use the service station outlets. Personaly I just had food in the hotel. Rooms are pretty good and shower is great 👍 "

"Really didn't enjoy our stay. The room was dirty especially around the windows and in poor state of repair with multiple chips in the basin. We had to climb a very old spiral staircase to get to the room which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Finally we were given a choice of breakfast either at 7.15 am or 10.15 and nothing was available in between."

"Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. "

"I can highly recommend this hotel. It is clean and in great condition. The staff are brilliant and the lovely lady on reception made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was fantastic and I would say it’s the nicest hotel we have stayed at in a long time 😊"
