"We booked a long bank holiday weekend at the very last minute and were not disappointed. Very tranquil location so the town isn't really walkable unless you are super fit although only minutes from town in a car. But the hotel more than made up for that. "Wonderful property, staff amazing.
Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power.
It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay.
As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime.

"This was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. A beautiful, well equipped room with a great view of the marshes. We stayed on a Sunday and booked a hamper for tea. It was so delicious! I highly recommend Cley Windmill as a great place to stay in a lovely place\
