"Stayed one night when attending a wedding in the castle. Can only recommend on my visit. Looked after by Cathy from arrival until breakfast next morning. Had dinner at Crown hotel a few mins from hotel and 10% discount on food was applied for hotel guests. Mind flash the key fob to let them know before the bill is on table. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast was served and tea/ coffee top ups were no trouble if asked for. Recommend the Kirkstyle if staying in the area."

"Lovely quaint and quiet country property with beautiful grounds. The breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold choices. Staff were very helpful. Lots of parking conveniently on site. Our only problem was our room was badly in need of maintenance - toilet did not flush and shower backed up onto floor. Staff came to assist but said they'd need maintenance to come following day so we just used main washroom toilet downstairs. Likely nobody told them of the issues and cleaners wouldn't know...

Great restaurant with good selection on menu, delicious 2 courses served by friendly, attentive staff. Breakfast cooked fresh, best I’ve had in sometime. Very good quality for not a lot of money. "This was a wonderfully charming little BnB! The room was spotless and felt brand new. Cozy outdoor patio surrounded by blooming flowers and plants. The breakfast was amazing; highly recommend the stack! I had a parking spot just outside the room. Will definitely return when I’m in the area again! Thank you!"
