"Room and Kitchen were clean and well equipped. Staff were courteous and attentive. One member of the night staff on our second night was very helpful and concerned when my wife had left her handbag at the restaurant we ate at. He made several phone calls in an attempt to resolve and called us a taxi( keeping us updated on its ETA) -we retrieved the bag!- apologies we did not get his name. Will definitely stay again when we visit Edinburgh. "

"This hotel is in a great location for exploring Edinburg. The rooms are small but clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. We did have a problem with our air con and it was surprisingly warm in the city for April. The staff sent someone to look at it f provided a fan to cool down the room. Breakfasts were buffet style and were a little crowded. The food wasn’t anything I’d rave about, but it was decent and there was plenty of it. The cocktail bar at the top of the hotel is lovely and well worth a visit."
