"Our room was pretty dirty on arrival. Used wet towels left in a cupboard and drawers. Toothpaste on wall and floor of bathroom. That aside was evident the room has not been properly cleaned in some time. Red mould around taps and on grout lines in bathroom tiles and thick dust on surfaces, skirting’s, tv etc. windows both cracked on room window (and black mould) and bathroom window also cracked. crumbs and debris on carpet and tv coming off wall (rawl plug loose). "Easiest check-in process (a door code was emailed in advance and you just let yourself in!). Room was clean, comfortable and a decent size. In the heart of Aviemore town centre so very convenient for all the shops and restaurants. Within easy reach of all the outdoor activities the town is known for. There is a restaurant and bar on site. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices, including gluten free options. Would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel is located in a convenient area. It seems to need some remodel love but appears to be getting some. There was roof maintenance outside of our room. There was instant hot water- a treat. There was a lovely river walk nearby and the petrol station half a block away had a washer/dryer for 24 hour service. Loved that. The beds were a bit springy but just for sleeping, linens were clean and the pillows were fluffy. The bar was nice, drinks were affordable and the food was above average...

"There were a number of great activities in and around the hotel. However we found our room to be very unclean, the floor was dirty and the door frame had a brown substance on it. We were woken up by loud noises by staff from out the window. We didn't enjoy staying in the room."
