"We stayed for four nights. The refrigerator was stocked with food and drinks — the drinks were especially welcome during the consecutive hot days. Breakfast was a self-serve affair from the fridge, enjoyed with freshly baked croissants delivered each morning. It gave us a lovely taste of village life, however brief.
