"Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. Barbara and Massimo, the owners, gave us a tour of the palazzo and the neighborhood....

The family hosts are unbelievably nice and make extra effort to make everything so comfortable (even on unrelated concerns like helping me problem solve a parking ticket from Lake Como and paying the Freeform Toll). A stunning property, cannot believe we were able to get in same day after leaving an unhappy property in La Morra. Though the exteriors are traditional, the interior finishes are new and modern. Santa Vittoria d’Alba is a quiet village without much to do and that is just what we wanted. It was a great location to rest after full days in Langhe.
