Our brief 2 day stay was fine. Everything in the room was clean and worked including the AC, bathroom, bed, etc. Nothing fancy but we only needed a functional place to stay. Was conveniently located next to the 405 and various fast food options. Allowed pets was another key reason we selected.

The rooms are pretty cheap and basic and great for a quick stay, and very close to the beach. Definitely not a 5 star, but it'll get the job done. The only complaint that I do have is that they do not do daily cleans. I've never stayed at a motel where they didn't come and clean the room while you're away, and I was quite annoyed when we returned from the beach and room hadn't been cleaned. I took my own trash downstairs and went to the desk to grab more towels, but other than that the stay was ok. Tons of food spots in the area and pets stay for free. You get what you pay for. 😁

If I could give a 0 star review, I would. Everything about this entire place was dirty. I think the only thing clean in the room was the beds. The floors had something sticky on them, gross build up and sticky stuff in every corner, Cheerios and chips on the floor, there was something gross on the TV, a film on the faucets, the shower head looked dirty as well as water spraying in every direction, and the towels were the size of a toddler towel. The room smelled of stale smoke and something musty. The door didn’t close properly. I was woken up just before 5am by a woman outside yelling and cussing at someone. Even the outside of the property was dirty, and had random piles of towels on the ground. We didn’t expect much, but did expect to have a clean room and decent bed, neither of which we got. Had it not been so late and had I been able to make other accommodation arrangements we would have left. My rental vehicle was cleaner and more comfortable than my room. In addition to all of this, I went to the office hoping to speak with someone about my concerns and I had to talk to someone on a computer screen in the Middle East somewhere, who did not help or care about what I had to say. Please do not reply with the generic response of “sorry for your poor experience “ the only thing that could make any of last nights stay better would be a refund and to fix your property so no one has to experience what we did. We will never stay here or any Motel 6 ever again!
