"Loved our stay, but two points to be aware of: 1.) the beach is often closed to get into the water due to sanitation issues flowing up from the Tijuana River. 2.) skip the breakfast buffet…$75 per person $21 per drink…lots of great breakfast places nearby on Orange street."

"Crown City Inn was a great place to stay during our visit to Coronado. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to borrow chairs and body boards to play in the ocean, and later we borrowed a couple bikes to ride around town on. And breakfast at the Bistro was very good!"

"We lived in SD for many years, and visiting always feels like returning home. We've stayed at many SD hotels over the years, and this was by far the best! We were amazed!
