"I was in the area specifically to see a show at the Paper Mill Playhouse located in nearby Millburn. Although my stay at this hotel was very brief (one night), I enjoyed it very much. I had actually arrived earlier than my scheduled check in. Fortunately, the very kind lady at the front desk (Margie?), was able to assist me with procuring a room quicker, and it made all the difference in the world. My room was on the top floor and it was clean, quiet and very comfortable. I only wish I could have stayed a few nights to take advantage of the breakfast and other amenities. Nevertheless, a great stay! Thank you, Hilton Garden Inn! "

"Great stay for two nights. Very friendly staff, beautiful inn, nice common room for breakfast, garden and porch to relax outside. The location - a short walk to downtown and the train station - was great. My only concern, and it was not a problem because I arrive at 4pm, was the code for the front door sent thru hotels.com for the front door was incorrect...worth calling ahead to make sure your code is correct"

"My children immediately complained about the stale, musty odor. One is very sensitive to mold and was having some problems. They commented that it smelled like a nursing home. My room was spacious as was the bathroom. The air conditioner/heater had some sort of bags put in it (3 I think) to try to improve the smell. The breakfast was nice, with an attendant bringing fresh cooked foods often. "

"Never stayed at this place. Upon arrival, I reached out to host. No answer. I never received any door /access codes in my confirmation email after payment to get into the unit, so I was stuck waiting in the street for 25mins before he finally came. The ad was very misleading, this was posted in the guise of a hotel, but it was really a Airbnb rental unit with shared spaces. Also, the room that he wanted me in wasn’t even prepared. The host left the building for 5-10mins and came back with a random balled up comforter that he put on the bed for me to use. I have no clue why the rental said it was available if it was not. I really do not believe he changed the sheets either. I asked for a refund and he refused even though I never stayed at the rental unit. I will be working towards getting my refund back. This was a rip off and I am highly disappointed that the host stated there was a hotel lobby with available concierge there to assist but it was nothing of the sort. A complete scam and I pray I get my money back on this beautiful unit that I didn’t even get to enjoy."

"No breakfast… i was told my reservation didn’t allow a breakfast since went thru a third party agent I was almost charged for overnight parking until I insisted I wasn’t going sign-in then they waved parking fee"
