We were right at the foot of the mountain with access to gondolas, roller coaster, go karts, mountain bikes and a million little shops and restaurants - If that’s not enough, 5 miles from Frisco for even more fun....It was very family friendly and awesome!

Decent
The room was much older than I expected-clean room overall just had not been updated in a while. Worked fine for the short time we were there. We were looking forward hot tub in the building until we found out towels weren't provided.
Village Square was likely built in the 70's and appeared to be all original. The room was small and the bathroom smaller. There was no made service. The rooms were dusty, not thoroughly cleaned and beat up. There are newer and nice properties at Center Village that I would try if we go back. The picture provided by Hotels.com was not Village Square and was misleading.

Average stay for the price.
Room was clean but outside noise was annoying. Water pressure in the shower was really low and the shower handle was broken. The building seems old and shares space with the medical facility. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE the building manager was very helpful and friendly.

70s Lodge
You can tell this hotel/lodge was built in the late 70s early 80s. Kind of dark-ish room, nothing fancy, all you need if you're hitting the slopes in the day then only using the room for sleeping. No desk-staff here, it's all handled through Copper's resort lodging facility which is down the street. Lockers were handy, room was comfortable, nice view of the mountain.
Very cramped and old room. Creaky bed springs. Broken television controller. Overpriced for quality of room.

Regrettably overpriced even with discount
First room we were given had a very strong chemical smell as if lots of cleaner or deodorant solution was spilled & was unbearable. The second room was farther away and not the same quality as the first. No compensation was offered and staff although kind was not well informed. Also staff did not look at available rooms to proactively address our need for a different room. When we arrived back at the front desk, we waited again for the agent to get this resolved. Finally, we weren't able to get late check-out when we asked the evening before nor the morning of our departure. Overall, the room, location & service did not match the price point of the product cost. I would not stay here again despite being closer to the slopes.
We specifically asked the agent if it had an outdoor pool and was told yes. It also has a picture of an outdoor pool in the picture. We also choose one with washer and dryer and it did not have one. There was no answer on the phone listed on the reservation and it took us quite some time to figure out how to check in. Overall not a great experience.

excellent location tired inside
if you want to ski copper this is the place to be. Excellent location nice restaurants and decent price.if you want to find something that has had the furniture replacement last 20 years you need to look further.
We booked a "hotel" room at the base of the ski mountain for convenience. We got to the first room - horrible...asked for a second one, equally horrible. Built in the 70's and seemingly NONE of the furniture, bedding or carpeting has every been replaced. Things were broken and non-functioning and we have the pictures to prove it. Worst thing was it took them 3 hours to relocate us and then we had to agree to pay twice the rate we were quoted to upgrade. Gone from BAD to WORSE - DO NOT STAY HERE!
Room was a hotel lockout from a condominium. The beds & pillows were very uncomfortable. Fortunately we were only there for 1night. I suspect that since this was a condominium building &the units are each individually owned we might have just been unlucky to have gotten an older room. I imagine some must be updated. Just the luck of the draw I guess. I would have chosen a regular hotel, however everything at Copper Mountain is a condo, no hotels!!
The hotel was nice and the location was fabulous. But, our big disappointment was our reservation said we had a kitchen and we didn't even have a small refrigerator. Put a damper on our eating in plans. But they compensated with a coupon for a future reservation, so that was nice.
Nice accommodations, was pleasently surprised that our room came with a garage parking spot, complimentary athletic club passes and a large enclosed patio.
Overall we had a great stay.
Very nice spacious room. My only complaint is that the carpet needs replacing.

Great experience!
We stayed at Passage Point in a first floor condo. The room was very clean, spacious, and nice. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to live there. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Plan to come back next year!

What a view
LARGE porch to view the mountain. Plenty of room for 4 in this one BR condo. Fireplace was great. Kitchen was well stocked. Also nice to have the heated garage for the car while it snowed.

Nice Stay
Was at Copper for the warrior dash. Hotel seemed clean though some signs of aging are in the rooms. Was great to have a place to really clean up after the event. The beds where not comfortable and the pillows left me desiring a westin or hampton. Overall when the rpice is right this is a good place to stay and enjoy some mountain fun.
As many have posted, this is outdated, needs maintenance and is really overpriced. You can hear all the noise from adjoining rooms and hallway. The sheets and blankets were very low quality and obviously old and worn. Furniture was scratched up, old carpet and rooms were a complete disappointment!
Murphy bed room tooooo small for four (1 adult and 3 kids)
I was looking for a reasonably priced place on the mountain for myself and 3 boys. Living here in Colorado, I try my best to ski on as little $ as possible and still be comfortable and have a good time. I got a murphy bed room for a good price and decided to go for it. I thought it would have a kitchen but it did NOT have a kitchen so we wore out the microwave and had an ice brigade for the cooler every pm. The room was very small for us, I am surprised we did not kill each other before the trip was over but we made it and had fun while skiing which is why we were there. The room would be perfect for two people. Like others have said the hot tub was a good one! There is a grill out by the hot tub for people to use and if had known that I would have brought hot dogs and burgers to cut down on the food costs. Use the coupons in the back of the attraction guide to save money. There is a good mexican food restaraunt up there behind the liquor store in center village (and I grew up in Dallas so I know good Mexican food). Don't take kids to the Irish Pub and they were not real welcoming to me bringing the boys in there even though there was only one other person in there. Almost had to have the music changed because of the profanity in the songs they were playing. Overall, good trip and great snow, I would just need to buck up for a bigger room.
Location can't be beat. Our room, however, was pretty lacking. It's small to begin with, there was a lot of noise at late hours from people hanging around outside. The water out of the tap was scalding hot immediately too - a minor thing but it burned my hand a bit when I checked the temp. The worst part was the beds. The "main" bed is pulled down from the wall. Whatever. But the second bed is a couch pullout, and it was like there was no cushion at all - just springs and a sheet thrown over it. We took turns sleeping on that one and it was awful. I know couch beds aren't supposed to be the best, but I've slept on floors that are more comfortable. At least then you won't have metal springs poking you in the back all night. If you want convenience, this is the place. Friendly staff too. Just needs to update the sleeping situation.
You can not beat the convenience of walking to your room after a long day on the slopes! Facility was updated and clean. Loved the outdoor hot tub.
Only complaint.... We booked a room for 4 people, and they gave us a Standard room with "Murphy Bed" and "Pull out sofa." With all our luggage and gear the room was extremely small. I guess you get what you pay for.
Overall, you still can’t beat the convenience of staying on the mountain.
