Wonderfully helpful staff. Beautiful inn with lots of charm. Absolutely wonderful choice of meals which tasted even better than described. It was a perfect place we will love to go back to.

Lovely rural location. Room clean but well worn. Food very nice although service slow. Enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely everything was wonderful. The room was lovely - the bed linens were so fresh and comfortable. The sheets smelled like they were line dried. Amazingly comfortable. Every and every single staff person was friendly, personable and kind. The food was top notch and the area is gorgeous. We will definitely come back when we’re in the UK again.
We have just got back from a fabulous stay at the Groes inn. Our room was lovely with everything that you would need, and also a great shower. We stayed for 3 nights and used it as a base for touring round north wales. We had breakfast every morning which was delicious and also ate there 2 of the nights, and the menu didn’t disappoint. All in all a delightful few days away.
Good internet, was dog friendly . Lovely beer garden. Staff friendly and accommodating, menu was goid. Excellent base for exploring North Wales

I was in room 16.
Room 16 is next to the boiler room so it got hot. It was also occasionally noisy from the pipes.
The staff were friendly and the food (breakfast and dinner) was decent.
The views were brilliant.

The room was clean. The bed very comfortable. Lovely view. A second comfortable chair would have been good. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Cosy bar.
Really enjoyable two night stay at this hotel .
Staff were really friendly and welcoming .
Room 12 was a great size with a large comfortable bed , great tea tray , toiletries and large soft towels .
View from the window was the fields with plenty of chatter from the sheep .
We ate at the pub both nights as the food was great quality . The pub is more of a restaurant than a drinking pub but you can sit near the bar or in the lovely outside area if you don’t want food .
Only thing I would recommend is the pub puts frosted glass in the bathroom for privacy .
We would like to visit again in the future .
