Quaint and historic Como

We loved the lovely, quaint, historic hotel. The service was the best and our accommodations were comfortable. We were walking distance to the pier, funicular and restaurants. The hotel was a little tricky to find (better signage would have helped) and the public parking was not convenient, but we know that is often the trade off when staying in the Old Town centers in Europe.

What a great find! Lovely Hotel, convenient for walking into main area/lake, staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was exactly what we needed, air con was a blessing, breakfast had a good selection, nice coffee, would definitely recommended.

We had a great stay at this property. They staff was very friendly and helpful. They also had A/C which is a bonus and the room was very quiet. The city center and harbor were close to walk to. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in Lake Como.

The front staff were amazing. We had a difficult time teaching Como as the trains were on strike and they had extreme weather with lots of flooding. We were very wet when we arrived and they had our rooms ready. We were able to change into dry clothes as soon as we arrived. Great advice on dinner options.

What an amazing hotel. As soon as we arrived we felt happy, relaxed and protected. The staff is amazing from the front desk to the ladies in the breakfast room. There is an absolutely divine quiet terrace. The hotel was within walking distance to the train station, great shops and restaurants and of course, the lake.

It is not the neighborhood we normally stay. Area is time worn, lots of traffic. Three star hotel as staff was excellent, building remodeled with very tiny elevator. Breakfast exceptional, cleanliness well done. Nearby public parking. Room rather small for almost $400/night. Bed was hard.
