We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning in the future. The location was great and our room was so charming. We had a blast in the game room and breakfast was wonderful. My husband and I highly recommend Colonial Plaza.

I really enjoyed my stay. The b&b was very near the beach, and many dining options. The hosts were gracious. The game room with old-timey video games was super fun! Just a wonderful stay!

The property and staff services were excellent. One improvement would have been to include an in-room or master bathroom instead of a separate room in the shared hallway. A second improvement would be the addition of a luggage or passenger lift to the second floor quarters.

What an amazing property! The owners were both friendly and accommodating. I did come during the offseason so the food choices around the area were limited due to them being closed. I stayed in the James Monroe suite and it was wonderful. The bed could have been a little bit softer but not too bad overall. Breakfast was amazing!

Staff was in a rush, a bit sharp in conversation. No "drink upon arrival" as advertised. They didn't provide a robe/ person. We were short one robe, despite having to enter the hall to access the bathroom. No hair conditioner offered. The breakfast was pretty normal weekend fare (scrambled eggs with cheese, French toast with sandwich-sized bread), fresh fruit cup. No extra food offered on table.

Misunn and Dave are excellent hosts. Very warm and friendly. Their conversation, cooking and helpful suggestions made the weekend very enjoyable. The house is neat and clean, with a nice small pool in the back (very well kept). They are a short walk to the main shopping area and are only 1/2 a block from the beach. The town is pretty quiet so if you are looking for nightlife this might not be for you. But if you want to relax and enjoy a pleasant weekend with wonderful hosts then I would recommend staying with Misunn and Dave.

Prime example of a Bed & Breakfast

Had an amazing time at this Bed and Breakfast. The owners were fabulous hosts. Very friendly, made us feel welcomed, and was very flexible with our schedule. Enjoyed our talks with the hosts. Wonderful breakfast and lovely Old Home! Would absolutely recommend and stay there in the future.
