"I remain impressed with the Charles Hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. The location perfect when doing things around Harvard Square. The restaurant and bars are great and the the staff very helpful. Well worth the price."

Unfortunately our room had issues with hot water - couldn’t take a shower for longer than 8 mins or so without it going cold. Happened three different times at three different times of the day. Housekeeping also entirely skipped our room one day which was a bit of a disappointment after coming back from a long day of walking and looking forward to crawling into a comfy, clean bed. "Really nice hotel. There is construction going on right outside of the hotel but doesn’t interfere with your stay. The room was very clean and nice. The restaurant on the 2nd floor was amazing and the staff was so kind. I would stay there again for sure!"

"The accommodations were OK. The bed was good. The neighborhood is nothing to write home about… But… b forwarned at the hotel is right next to The Green Line T. So you hear the train going by every three minutes. If that’s OK with you then get a room here. For me, it’s a dealbreaker. I shall not be returning."

Screaming couple outside of parking lot and almost got accosted by an old lady in the grocery store that was recommended by the staff. No shower gel or shampoo, and paid over $600 for two nights. Totally insane. Price gouging at its finest. "

Rooms are spacious & clean, easy parking, and restaurant onsite is a bonus. Nice to have rooms across the hall from one another, so one room for sunrise/ getting up early, and the other for sunset (aka sleeping in) Walking distance to Dunkin’"

"Only body towels in bathroom. No hand towels. Tub was very slippery with nothing available to avoid slipping and falling. Television didn’t work."

"Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym. "
