"Beware if you are thinking about booking their rooms. Telephone attendant have no idea when their reception open/closes. They told us the checkin is open until 12AM and when we reach at 11:30, there was no one - they locked and went home. Their emergency number is another joke, don’t expect anyone will help you in case of emergency at night. We cancelled our trip and went back."

"The Bowl Inn is exceptional, set in an idyllic location just outside Bristol city centre. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the bedrooms are luxuriously appointed. One of the highlights was the large windows, which open fully onto the stunning surrounding countryside, creating a peaceful and relaxing retreat. Highly recommended."

"Constant noise and heavy fire doors banging until midnight, got woken up by people in the hallway leaving at 6am. The room had a green fire exit light that couldn’t turn off so the room was always lit up even with the other lights off. The lamp in the room was broken. Absolutely no soundproofing anywhere. Plenty of free parking though. Breakfast was included but not a great standard. Bathroom had paint peeling off the windowsills and the shower was slow to drain. There were shower amenities...

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."
