Great Bombay Saturday dinner selection - what a lovely extra surprise. Lovely, attentive and efficient staff, every one, from chefs to reception. Peaceful landscaped grounds for refreshing wander after long drive. Superb value breakfast. Highly recommend."

"Very nice, older- but kept up Hilton hotel. The Standard room, double bed, is quaint (small to Americans traveling with large suitcases). We juet have carryons & 2 backpacks, so it’s not bad. Very clean! It’s exactly what we needed before our cruise! You can book your taxi for the next day when you check in with the front desk. We’re in room 105- The Bathroom was nice, a towel warmer, nice size shower. Our sink spays water everywhere- so becareful if you’re already dressed!!! We must be...

We didn't use the spa or pool as only there for one night. It was the hottest day of the year and in the parts that were air conditioned it was ok but the actual wedding was outside in the garden and there was no shade for the quests we were all melting and got sun burnt so would advise if its the reason for your visit take hats or umbrella. "The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful"

"This is a charming guesthouse in a very walkable location, near the Dover Castle, numerous pubs and restaurants. Alex the owner is super helpful and gracious. The kitchen was well-stocked with many breakfast items and there were a few good cafes nearby for a nice latte or flat white. Upon our departure, Alex arranged a taxi to take us to the cruise port which was very helpful. The room we stayed in had a comfortable bed and a lot of personality. "Excellent overnight stay prior to getting the Channel Tunnel to France for a holiday. Great location, lovely English pub, good food, great accommodation and lovely staff. Second stay here but will definitely book again if we are going to Europe in the future."

"The family room was lovely and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 children. A couple of niggles in that the blind was broken in the bathroom and the rubbish bins were a bit on the small side. Staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was delicious and we had 1 meal there which was great. Lovely setting next to the river. Would highly recommend"

"Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away."

"The family room was a good size and clean unfortunately the double bed had a dreadful squeak at every movement! However for one nights stay it was absolutely fine. I needed to wash and sterilise some baby bottles and despite it being 10pm the staff were very helpful and came back to give me access to the kitchen and microwave ( which again was very clean and tidy) we left too early for breakfast but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for an overnight stop"
