"The staff were all great and breakfast and the restaurant were fine but the rooms and common areas need refreshing. Having said that the beds were comfortable just an overall tired feeling about the place."

"Good location in Galway to experience the sea views and bay. The hotel itself is a little tired, but reasonably clean. The staff in the restaurants and lounge are exceptional! This is where the hotel shines, as well as having lovely views across the bay. Also front desk staff was lovely and had a small fridge brought to our room when we enquired about refrigerators. We had breakfast included and it was very satisfying with typical full Irish breakfast choices, plus cereal, toast, yoghurt...

"perfect area of galway to stay. it was right in the heart of the shops and pubs. no lift so be mindful of how much luggage you have, it’s a bit of a maze to get to the rooms. overall, perfect stay for our trip"

"Beautiful, clean and close to all the action of downtown Galway. The restaurant had a nice menu selection and overall staff were all friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great place to set your compass for a visit to Galway."

"Menlo Park was a lovely hotel….very clean, great room, and close to everything. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and it was one of the best meals we had on our whole trip. The staff were all so friendly & accommodating. They definitely went over and above. Would absolutely stay there again."

"Extremely loud and noisy. I understand the bar is attached to the hotel, but the walls literally shake and pound until 2am. Beds are average comfy at best. Bathrooms fantastic. Just don’t stay here unless you plan on partying until 2am"

"I liked the location It was good to get around."
