"A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us.
The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable.
Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch.
The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented.

"Had an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! Breakfast was well prepared on beautiful old fashioned crockery, so well looked after.

"Wonderful property, staff amazing.
Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power.
It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay.
As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime.

Very tranquil location so the town isn't really walkable unless you are super fit although only minutes from town in a car. But the hotel more than made up for that.
