The hotel was well located in the middle of town. There was no air conditioning, but the temperatures cooled off at night and a fan was provided. But the staff was the most wonderful part of our stay. They were pleasant, helpful, and just overall wonderful!

The staff were really friendly and helpful, always giving the best customer service. The rooms were clean, comfy beds. It’s an old building so expect creaky floorboards! The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Would highly recommend staying here.

The best part of our stay was the food in the restaurant. It was exceptional. The worst part was the 38 steps up to our top floor room and the quarter mile walk to the car park. The bed was comfortable, the Nespresso coffee maker was nice and the shower was just OK, having only a rain head and no wand. The bar is great for what’s on the bar menu but lame for US cocktails. For instance, the bartender didn’t know what either a manhattan or Rob Roy was.
