"We have been in the UK for the first time 8 day trip. This was by far our favorite lodging! We stayed in a 5 star hotel in London and it paled in comparison to The Wheatsheaf Inn. The room was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was delicious…we had dinner after arriving and breakfast the next morning. Best meals we’ve had on our trip! The staff was so friendly and attentive. We couldn’t recommend it more! "

Das Hotel und Pub sind urig aber sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, wobei die wahrscheinlich den Charme ausmacht. Das Frühstück war seht lecker 😋 von richtig englisches Frühstück bis einfaches Toast mit Marmelade. Die Bar im Pub ist sehenswert, wir hatten das Glück einen Abend mit Live-Musik zu verbringen. "The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance. "
