"I had to change rooms 3 times because the first had water all of the floor & the second was marks cleaned but had toothpaste on the sink and debris on the room floor. The exterior side doors of the hotel do not lock at all. The breakfast is only waffles, two cereals, and a small selection of breads. The rooms are in rough conditions- toilet handles need held down to flush, tubs don’t drain, sink faucets do not extend out to wash hands, mildew everywhere. The parking lot has massive potholes everywhere. Lastly, don’t plan to utilize WiFi as it does not work. "

"Didn't use the pool. We were up early at 07:30 today given we checked in late 01:30 am because of a delayed flight from JFK to Syracuse and some miscommunication around the shuttle pickup location. Got resolved and so nice to get picked up by the hotel shuttle and be given a later checkout time by night manager which we didn't use but nice it was offered all the same. Have stayed at this hotel a few times before as it is a park sleep and fly hotel too. Always a good stay! Staff always friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. On time airport shuttles! They always have some breakfast food and fresh coffee even when you take the early morning shuttle to the airport and before the breakfast room opens at 6 am. Cracker barrel restaurant next door for dinner the night before. Easy walk to it. Fridge and microwave if you want to bring food of your own. And Keurig coffee machine in the room. Would recommend this hotel for a good stay altho currently renovatiions of the breakfast room and some first floor rooms..Earplugs available from the hotel."

"The hotel is being updated. I'm 75 years old and this room was the worst room I've ever stayed in my life. They should never have rented out this room. When you picked up the table, the legs dangled from side to side. I couldnt put anything on it...including my elbows...without the table rocking side to side. The chair was tattered. The maintenance man needs to get a raise. I was in the process of seeing what other hotels near by had a vacancy when, after I complained, he found me a new table and chair. I was upset and he still treated me well. The website shows a deli style cooler. This cooler doesnt exist. I was dropped off at the hotel to spend the night before an early flight out of SYR. I had planned on grabbing a sandwich out of the deli cooler for dinner. I ended up having to walk to the nearest food place...Taco Bell...across a 4 lane road. Except for the maintenance person, this place is a total thumbs down. "
