"This hotel is old and tired. It needs a total updating. It was 15 C outside and we ran the AC full blast the entire time and the room was always 24 - 25 C. The bathroom fixtures were salvaged from the wreck of the titanic and the hot water was scalding, very easy to get scalded if you weren't careful. "Check in staff were great and allowed us to check in early which was great, however the staff and service at the restaurant was just terrible overall, so I’ll leave it at that. Overall the hotel is showing its age and is obviously due for an upgrade/ refresh. Definitely not up to “Sheraton” standards that’s for sure. It’s definitely not the same Hotel Newfoundland it used to be that’s for sure."

"Rooms are a little small, we were a family of 4 travelling. Otherwise, it was clean, service was amazing, the restaurant was great and staff was very helpful. It is located 5 minutes walk to George Street!"
