"No windows in the room and quite dirty around window area. Bathroom was not clean enough, no tissues or shower gel. Burnt toast and croissant and a poor breakfast. Lovely location but really needs to improve "

"Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Pub/Restaurant is lovely, rooms are very nice and the staff were wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and dinner was superb. Lots of parking and area is nice and peaceful so slept well. Very dog friendly in all areas. Would definitely return."

"Good stay. Excellent welcome and service fro reception. Very old but very clean throughout. White bed linen and white towels. Actually next door to the cathredral. Parking would be challenging but for the good arrangement between hotel and city council which makes it pretty easy. Overall we were well pleased with our stay."
