"The property is attractive and generally comfortable. Sadly I did see a cockroach in my bathroom, which scared me and stopped me sleeping for a night. I did message a maintenance man who was very friendly and laid some insect powder and emptied the bin the next morning. Also the shower flooded after 2 mins of use so I had to remove the plug whilst I used it and put it back afterwards as I think the cockroach may have come from the drain. "We've been coming to this area and driving past this hotel for about 35 years and decided to stay couple of nights before transferring to our timeshare at Quint do Lago. It's a nice hotel with great staff and pool but little else. There is a free on-demand minibus to the beach which is a big plus. We were about surprised to find that in a few places, the carpets were worn right through..Not what you'd expect from a 5* location. Breakfast was "OK" but lacked inspiration (and decent bacon!)....

"This property is located in walking distance from Faro’s good restaurants and water shore. UBER is available to airport. As an older adult 82- I would have liked more info on arranging how to get out, where restaurants were…Just someone to talk to on site. But the place is nice n sunny."

"Very clean hotel with lovely staff. Views are fantastic with a nice pool overlooking the beach. Only thing is I paid for an upgraded room and I was double booked and I was told 2 days before my stay. However we received a refund and the staff made it right on our second night and moved us to a new room. I would come back again 🙂"

I repeatedly extended my trip simply on the great vibes here, the only regret was not being able to schedule in the wine tasting and pairing. A perfectly valid reason to plan and come back to enjoy. "Nice, basic hotel. Staff arranged for a morning taxi for us to get to the airport (no free shuttle available) and for a packed breakfast to go. Breakfast was unremarkable (white bread ham & cheese sandwich, two cakes, a very soft and bruised apple and a sugary juice type drink) but the effort was appreciated."
