"This is a beautiful hotel filled with art and we enjoyed strolling the different floors to pick our favorites. We chose it to stay one night "near" the SJO airport for a flight the next day. At first we thought we had made a mistake staying here because we arrived during evening rush hour traffic and it took a long time to get there, but the drive to the airport in the morning was quick and easy. We ate a delicious dinner at the Italian restaurant next door and enjoyed the hotel's breakfast...

Many shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, etc, just steps away from the hotel. "Eden Atenas seemed a bit in the middle of nowhere, when we arrived in the dark - and it was very dark. But when we woke up the morning we were surrounded by the most beautiful jungle gardens, a gorgeous pool, such a kind caretaker who made a gorgeous simple breakfast where we watched hummingbirds. Eden. Just like it says. There isn't anywhere exciting to go outside the compound but inside it's a magical retreat. Someone should write a great novel there."
