"The room was very nice. Check in was simple and we didn’t have do anything extra once we did the online check in. For the price this is a great stay. My turn offs were: parking - where our room was I could not see our vehicle which made me a bit nervous but not a huge deal. The bathroom wasn’t totally clean. "This property has a lot of potential, unfortunately the owners do not invest in it. While I appreciate that it is a lodge and has the charm of a cabin/camping feel, it is very run down and not maintained at all. The grounds need serious attention - there are weeds everywhere, trash, and are just overall unkept. Spider webs are all over the buildings and entryway/doors. The room was filthy and doesn't properly get cleaned. The floors clearly haven't been cleaned in ages, our socks were filthy...

No continental although not advertised - would help if they at least served something as the couple of restaurants in town aren't timely for those catching the scenic train.
