"We found The Duke to be 5star. Everything was perfect, especially the delightful young staff. Always smiling and very helpful. Decor was very sophisticated and stylish. "Everything was really good with our stay at Walhampton Arms last night! We were welcomed when we arrived to check in! We ate our dinner in the restaurant (I really like the small portions available for people like us who have smaller appetites) and breakfast was brilliant this morning! Set us up for the day, which we spent in and around Lymington before driving back home! All in all a lovely stay at the Walhampton Arms. Thank you!"

"All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. Showed us around and explained how things are done with the bar, breakfast etc. even introducing us to their pet, Lionel the parrot. We were given a choice of 2 rooms to pick from. "Staff was amazing! Had a wonderful time with a clean room and thought it was a really neat place. The staircase could be difficult for some, as it's obviously an old one built when treads weren't as deep. Nicely set up room, though small in size. Would definitely stay there again! The only downside for me was lack of a soft pillow though flatter pillows appear to be more standard in the UK.
