Veramente una bellissima sorpresa perché le foto non rendevano l'idea del posto veramente incantevole, tranquillità assoluta in una villa dove credi di essere stato trasportato in un altra epoca, e le cene con prodotti della "Cinta Senese" veramente spettacolari. Altamente consigliato.

Ungewöhnlich

Unser Aufenthalt hier war sehr angenehm. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Haupthaus, das Badezimmer befand sich allerdings eine halbe Treppe höher. Wir hatten es aber für uns, so dass das für uns kein Problem war. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und vor den Fenstern befinden sich Fliegengitter. Diese agritur ist etwas abseits gelegen und dadurch sehr sehr ruhig. Ein Großteil der Arbeit dort wird von volonteers ausgeführt, die zum größten Teil aus Amerika und Kanada kommen. Auch die Gäste sind überwiegend Amerikaner. Um 19 Uhr gab es auf der Terrasse des secret Gardens einen kleinen Wein Empfang. Um 19.30 Uhr folgte dann das gemeinsame Abendessen in einem der vielen Innenhöfe. Es gab ein Menü, wobei man jedoch nicht auswählen konnte. Auch das Frühstück wurde gemeinsam eingenommen. Dieser Agriturismo ist ein sehr ungewöhnlicher Ort, da er sich in einer alten sehr verwinkelten Burg befindet. Es gibt verschiedene wunderschöne Aufenthaltsräume mit großen alten Kaminen und bequemen Sofas und auch draußen in den Gärten gibt es genug schöne Plätze.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay. My friend and I spent a lot of time walking the grounds, spending time at the pool, and visiting the animals. The volunteers and interns were very friendly and open to talking about their work at the farm. The food was absolutely delicious and was a great value for the money. The room was simple and comfortable with a beautiful view and clean bathrooms. Overall it was a great start to our trip through Italy and will definitely return!

We LOVE Spannocchia

Our second stay at La Tenuta di Spannocchia was just as sweet and magical as our first visit in 2013. This time we slept in the Count’s room, which made us feel positively noble, and just like before, the ravenous piggies loved the plums that we threw into their pen. We also loved our interesting breakfast and dinner companions, including hard working interns and woofers.

Classical and Relaxing AgriTurismo Tuscany

We definitely enjoyed Tenuta di Spannochia, a castel and estate developed in the 13th century, and ended up extending our stay there an additional two nights. Spannochia is more farm than hotel and has a calm, comfortable feeling and the evening dinner, made from homegrown ingredients and with aperitif beforehand, is not to be missed. It is a close drive to a number of Tuscan villages and is less than 30 minutes from Siena. Osho Miasto, a meditation center, is about a 15 minute drive.
