"Sound-proofing not good. I could still hear conversations in the early hours of the morning. When I awoke the next day at 06.45, the talking was still audible.
I stayed at this hotel to be close to my work in Chelmsford. The breakfast was good but a 07.00 start would be better, especially for the next few years while the new Gallows Corner is being built."
"Hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Loved having coffee sachets and biscuits in the room. Best bit was a bar of posh delicious chocolate in the room. And fresh milk on demand. Wonderful hotel. Thank you. Only downside was that the room was very hot and the little fan didn’t help much. Evening meal was delicious and so was breakfast. Thank you. We will be back. "

"We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning.
We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room.
The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows.
We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed.
We would stay here again if we had an early flight...
"It was a good stay - easy check-in, clean, comfy room. It had a slight smell. I arrived after midnight and was worried that my room would have been given away. I called maybe ten times earlier in the day, and no one ever answered. But in the end, check-in was no problem, quick, and easy. I took the shuttle bus from the airport. It costs 4 pounds, but they do now accept cards. I had read that the shuttle was cash only, but that is no longer the case."

The staff were friendly , the rooms, although slightly dated , were spotless & the bed comfortable.
The location was really pretty being on the River Stort . We made use of the onsite cafe / bar. then took an evening stroll along the river bank .
It would have suited us to have breakfast
in the cafe but it was closed the following morning for a deep clean , which just shows
cleanliness of the place...
"Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. "
