The Slumber Lodge is a bit outdated but the front reception lady was kind and our room was clean, the sheets were fresh, bed was comfy, and there was hot water and plenty of towels.

We wanted a quick overnight stop in a cheap motel. This is what we got, a slightly tired and pretty basic room with a large bed. The lady on reception was enthusiastic and tried to help us with ideas (leaflets) for things to do. There is an indoor pool, but we didn't use it. Generally quiet, but freight trains to roll on through in the early hours. Behind the motel is a local diner called Rolys. It is worth a visit, either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You may need a doggy bag....

This is not a high end property. Pool not useable. If you need a cheap place for the night, good enough. Property is a bit run down. But beds were clean. It’s 4 walls and a roof. Don’t expect anything more.
