The room was mostly clean but there had obviously been major water damage in the bathroom (peeling wallpaper, damage to bottom of door etc), the bathroom barely worked, there was a bit of mold in the shower, there was obviously a major leak from the unit above that hadn't been patched very on the ceiling, the carpet seemed to have a stickiness everywhere, one of the drawers in the kitchen would barely open/close and one of the bedside lamp outlets did not work. Also, its a weird complaint but the bathroom and kitchen taps were way to powerful and sprayed water absolutely everywhere even when only partially turned on. It was weird and by the end of the week, very very annoying. The bedding all looked clean and the beds were comfortable which was good. It was nice having 2 TVs in the room as well. Wish there had been more hooks for towels etc. The kitchenette with stove top was great to have. Kitchenette was also well stocked which was great. Most of the property looked fairly well kept and I saw multiple staff spraying down public surfaces on multiple occasions so it was obvious they were maintaining things well despite our specific room. Overall the staff were great and the location was good for what we planned to be doing. Having Denny's downstairs was handy (not included in room rate). They have some maintenence to catch up on but otherwise good stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sandman Inn in Abbotsford. The hotel offered great amenities and excellent room service that made our visit especially enjoyable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep, and the shower was outstanding with strong water pressure and hot water on demand. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we would happily stay here again.

Location for us was the key reason for booking the hotel. The parking lot is extremely difficult to exit and then get access to Fraser Highway. Having Denny’s onsite was great for meals but obviously would have preferred a free continental breakfast or a discount at restaurant for hotel visitors. The cleaning staff was outstanding, kind and very helpful. We would book the hotel again.

The hotel its self was beautiful! I was happily surprised to find they had a hot tub and a pool as it wasn’t on the Expedia listing so that was a plus. My only issue would be the room. It smelt dusty and not clean to me and I happened to find dirty underwear seated on the chair by the desk so that didn’t make me feel comfortable. However the staff handled that amazingly and cleaned the area offers me a different room and gave me a voucher to the Denny’s downstairs which is open 24/7
