"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."

"Really loved our stay at The Blue Boar. Enjoyed an excellent dinner in the beer garden, and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was plentiful and the electric car charging station was the best and easiest we used on our travels. Would definitely stay again."

Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. "Beautiful property, in urgent need of maintenance and remodeling. Beds and mattresses are in very bad condition, carpets have had it. Only 5 AC equipped rooms. We got four of them and ACs were working on two of them."
