"A period hotel built during the Civil War (which seems a brave business choice!) and has hosted celebrities including Elvis Presley and Ronald Reagan. The hotel is beautifully set out around a courtyard.
I'm not sure that there is an elevator, so there may be challenges for people with disabilities or difficulties lifting luggage.
When I checked in, reception was being covered by the maintenance man but he was very helpful."
