We loved our stay at the Bambuh Homestay. The owners are kind and easy to communicate with. Everything was organised well and questions were answered easily. The property is a little oasis in the jungle. Our room was beautiful with a lovely patio where we could sit and listen to the rain. It was exactly the restful stop we needed. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was wonderful. Attractive, comfortable room with a terrific view. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious. The grounds are peaceful and attractive. The best place to stay when visiting Chiang Rai. Using your bikes was the ideal way to visit the Baan Dam Museum. Visit these places too: All of our places we visited were excellent. Royal Villa and garden Arboretum (nice walk on the moss covered stone paths, and views. No longer maintained garden)

This truly was an amazing space, I was looking for a place to relax and unwind, and somehow found the perfect spot. The grounds are like a garden. The rooms are perfect and clean. The staff was there, but not in your face, had great conversations at breakfast when I wanted and was able to be quiet when I wanted. Truly amazing and beautiful.!

Lovely guesthouse set in beautiful grounds in a quiet semi-rural location. Very friendly and welcoming. Delicious food. Good centre for exploring the area. We borrowed bikes for a day and explored nearby villages and waterfalls. Highly recommended!

We loved Bambuh Boutique! Small quiet property and the caretakers are very kind. Home cooked breakfast including home roasted coffee. Lovely big rooms and the AC worked well. Note that the location is not near anything and Chiang Rai in general is very spread out. We booked many Grabs to get around. Recommend hiring a driver for a day to see the temples, markets etc.

good but expensive homestay in remote setting

good to enjoy nature in remote setting in chiang rai if you don’t want to stay in city center. however be aware that it is quite far from city center and therefore not always easy to get a taxi (also expensive to go to city or other temples). bike rental available for free :) nearby black temple museum and green restaurant which is quite good. prices for homestay quite expensive but nice hosts and unique buildings. if you fully want to be only in nature without sightseeing planned, this place is good.

Very nice property if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, but if you plan to visit the city, it is a bit far off from the tourist areas. Also, there is very limited dining options in the evening in the immediate vicinity, and not everyone would be comfortable walking in this area after sunset. That being said, the property is beautiful, the rooms clean, and the staff/owners were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay

Beautiful hotel just out of the main town. The site is lovely with gardens surrounding the buildings and a pineapple field to walk through. The room was stunning with an excellent bathroom and veranda. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Khao Tom. The dinners were also a delight, freshly cooked and delicious. Wonderful peaceful retreat to stay in if you want to get out of town and into sone nature.

We had a wonderful experience with Kallaya and her team. The property was beautiful and provided a serene escape. Breakfast was amazing and always delicious, a great way to fuel up for the day. Make sure to visit give green farm house restaurants next to the Black House for a delicious local meal.

This has to be one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in. The views through the big windows makes you feel you're staying the in the forest. The owner is an amazing and friendly person that we had fun conversations about different plant life her and her husband established. I would 10/10 go back!

We were actually disappointed when we arrived. The entire are looked lost and not like the photos at all. Location is far off everything and we decided to sleep in our friends house at the end.

Amazing experience!

This place is a true gem in Chiang Rai. Absolutely stunning accommodation and great food! The rooms are so spacious, clean and modern. The butterflies and birds on the property are also so pretty. It’s truely a little paradise! The owners are also so friendly and extra willing to help out to make sure your stay is a perfect one! They were extra helpful with our special requests and They gave us great recommendations of things to do as well. It’s a little bit outside the city but with their free bikes or scooter rentals it’s not that hard to get into the city. The black museum is near by and so is great food! If you need an amazing place to stay in chiang rai then this is your place!

You must stay here - a slice of paradise Ch Rai

We were booked in for only one night at this beautiful oasis but as soon as we arrived and we’re warmly welcomed, walked through the garden forest to our pod, man we wished we had booked in for longer! The owners were amazing, friendly and helpful. We opted for a home cooked dinner and we were not disappointed. The garden forest is truly stunning and we took great pleasure in exploring, ending in a small stream and views over the rice fields. Our accommodation was beautifully looked after, cosy and pretty. If we didn’t have to get a flight the next day, we totally would have borrowed a couple of bikes (which they offer free of charge) and taken a cycle around the idyllic countryside! Thank you for an incredible stay. We can’t wait to visit again!
