Nat, Kobby and the team have created something special here. The layout and grounds of the property are beautiful and the villas are clean and well appointed. They are a bit older, but that's absolutely fine as a modern room wouldn't really suit considering the surroundings. There's not a whole lot to do nearby but it's the perfect place to relax and an easy grab ride away from town. The staff are amazing and always offerred to keep my kids entertained while we ate breakfast or had massages in the villa. Breakfast could get a bit repetitive if staying for awhile but it was always delicious. Recommend eating at the restaurant too as it has the perfect ambience.

If I could give this truly lovely little boutique resort 10 stars I would - we really couldn’t have chose a better place to stay with our 4.5 year old twins. Nat, the owner is so helpful & friendly & so are all staff, who all do their jobs fantastically. There is a genuine feeling of care & teamwork all round. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family villa which is actually 2 separated en-suite double rooms, with a shared open space/hall/reception area between then, opening on to a really great size balcony with comfy furniture, overlooking the pool. The grounds & gardens are beautiful & so lovingly designed & maintained. Butterflies & dragonflies flutter around & the sound of water features around the central pond, complete with fish we helped to feed, is so tranquil & relaxing! It really is a heavenly little Oasis that feels a world away from Chiang Mai city but only 10 mins via grab or bolt, so it’s very easy & cheap to get around. There’s street food, laundry & a 7eleven within walking distance, but we ate at the hotel & had laundry sorted by the housekeeping team too. The bedding & pillows are lovely, firm mattresses, which we are ok with. The food was all delicious! We stayed 8 nights & there was just about enough variety on the menu for us. We loved breakfast in the laid back restaurant, although simple choices of different egg dishes, waffles, cereals & pancakes it was always fab, with a huge platter of fresh fruits & great coffee, and the setting is lovely by the water. This property is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, away from busy roads. The restaurant is lovely and there are local food stalls a short walk away. The pool is clean and the gardens well kept. There is also a kids pool and play area so certainly family friendly. The staff are absolutely fantastic and we could not be happier with the service we received.

Home away from home

What an absolute gem of a place! We stayed a week 2 kids and 3 adults and had an amazing time at Siam resort. All the staff was warm and welcoming and Nat and Kobi - the best hosts one could wish. Nat helped to arrange a whole week of tours in and around Chiang Mai and the guide/driver was of a great help as well. Great attention to detail - we really felt like home away from home. And kids loved the place too! We’re definitely going to miss this place and if we’ll travel back to Chiang Mai, we will definitely choose to stay at Siam resort once again. Thank you!

Wow.

First off - Nat. She’s amazing. She helped us and cared for us so much during our stay it felt like we were staying at our aunt's house. Her English is outstanding and her level of care was second to none. We were only there for 2 nights but sincerely wished we had more time there. We will definitely stay there again our next time in Thailand. Nat even arranged a local tour for us and changed the breakfast times to accommodate our weird schedule while we were there. Beds were a bit hard but honestly everything was so amazing it didn’t matter. Turn down service, local guides and overall hosting cannot compare. Highly recommend staying here. And get the chicken noodle soup for breakfast, delicious!

Beautiful resort in a natural setting!

We went to Chiang Mai for Lanna Sky Music Festival and were mainly focused on a convenient place between the festival location and the airport and stumbled across this place! Setting is well integrated into the natural environment. Beautiful, well tended landscaping helps to create a peaceful surrounding where the gentle sounds of the wildlife are clear devote of any traffic or other noises. Its a quick 15min ride by taxi/Grab between the airport and also to the city center. Food is fresh and organic with a well laid out breakfast included in the reservation. Wifi wasn’t the best, but functional. Staff were highly accommodating, friendly, and respectful. We really felt like we were staying with friends after our five nights there rather than at a hotel. Bed was comfortable, we werent a fan of the pillows, but we didnt ask for alternatives as we were able to sleep so peacefully regardless. Highly recommended if you are looking for a resort style experience but also an authentic nature inspired Thailand feel. Looking forward to coming back soon as a break away from Bangkok!

I've never been to Chiang Mai, so didn't know what to expect, but it's really "touristy" and while probably great for backpackers, it doesn't have enough "open space" for kids to wander. This hotel does. It has two small pools, with shallow areas for little kids, a playground that I wouldn't have thought would work, but did ---and a nice bit of green area that is a rice patty, snail breeding ground, chicken hangout..and it works. The team here is great. The area is a little outside the city (20 minutes from airport and 20 mins to 1 hr from center city, depending on time of day). Would probably rent a car next time from airport, but if you are into street and 'local' foods, this place is in a 'residential' area with small shanties and restaurants to find all the khao soi, ginger and fruit integrated foods. If we come back to Chiang Mia, we would all stay here. Much respect to their manager (Kobe?), Ms. Nat (one of the owners) and all the team trying to make this a sweet place for families (of which there were many from all over the world).

Very friendly, happy staff. The kids loved playing on the bikes. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice.

I didn't stay long, but the property is really pretty and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Before booking be sure to know what it is you want to do while in Chiang Mai, I didn't have trouble getting around thanks to Grab, but it is a little further out than I thought it would be (no fault of there's, I booked my excursions after I booked my hotel). The water features throughout the property make you feel like you've dropped in the middle of nature which is very peaceful after a busy day of exploring. The only downside was I had ants in my room. Not from anything that was left or unclean, the little buggers just kept coming in through the tiniest space in the window.
