Good place to go to the Termi

Thé photos largely embellish this property. Everything is old but clean and considering the price we have paid price/quality ratio was ok. Very good location for the Termi. Breakfast was good.

Raffinato hotel

in cui abbiamo soggiornato solo per una notte perchè destinati ad altra meta. Staff cortese e disponibile. Stanza pulita, ottimo letto confortevole, bagno ampio e funzionale. Ottima colazione abbondante e variegata. Parcheggio gratuito davanti ad hotel. Consigliato.

Very classy hotel with real Italian Feeling!

Very elegance hotel with good location. We got some problems with our room reservation and they handled these problems very professionally and with good customer service attitude. Actually when we left the hotel we got two bottle of wine and jelly can. That is the way to serve customers. Very good attitude and warm services. Also atmosphere got something from 100 years back feelings. If you want to feel real Italian life and hotel visit here! Nearby is a lot of things to see. Water park, wineries, monastery etc. and location includes very beautiful scenery straight to the valley.

La nostra breve vacanza è durata tre giorni e due notti, in una comitiva di tre coppie. Per quanto riguarda la ristorazione, personale e piatti che meritano le stelle dell'albergo; invece per il resto..........pulizia minima, la piscina di sera non è fruibile e forse in generale la gestione si sta trascurando rispetto allo scorso anno.

Struttura in stile liberty, eleganza all'interno

Ho soggiornato una notte all'interno di questo gradevolissimo hotel i cui interni, arredati con gusto ed eleganza, danno il senso di un ampio respiro. Le camere sono confortevoli e dotate di ognni accessorio, pulite. Al primo piano è situata una piscina atrrezzata con lettini e ombrelloni, verde intorno. Molto belli l'ampia sala destinata ai pasti e il bar. Personale molto disponibile, ma il fiore all'occhiello è la Sig.ra Vanna molto empatica e pronta all'esigenze della clientela.

My family and I had a very pleasant stay at the Alexander Palme Hotel. It's charmin, the facilities - including a great pool! - are very nice and the staff is kind and helpful. It's also very well located, close both to Chianciano Terme's centre and to the Acqua Sillene baths. I fully recommend it!

Prédio imponente

O hotel é imponente num prédio antigo. Recepção e restaurante com decoração clássica em mármore e tapetes. Não conheci as demais instalações como a piscina. Achei o quarto muito pequeno para um 4 estrelas. Não havia local para colocar mala. Porta de correr no banheiro dava direto para o quarto. Cortina de plástico no box que deixava vazar água fora do box por ser curta. Calefação barulhenta. O pessoal da recepção extremamente simpático e atencioso.

UN HOTEL DA DECLASSARE

L'hotel non corrisponde ai requisiti standard della categoria "quattro stelle". La struttura è assai antiquata e la pulizia generale lascia a desiderare. Il servizio non ha niente a che vedere con il servizio di un hotel a quattro stelle. La colazione a buffet è di qualità scadente. Il bagno cieco della nostra camera non disponeva di : ventola, luce sopra lo specchio, doccia angolata per poter usufruire del getto restando in piedi. Inoltre, al nostro arrivo abbiamo constatato l'otturazione dello scarico sia del lavandino sia del bidet. Il terrrazzino della camera era sporco di calcinacci come pure la sedia di plastica, unica possibilità per eventualmente far asciugare gli asciugamani della piscina. La piscina non viene gestita da nessuno. Il parcheggio, che viene indicato dall'hotel come sevizio gratuito, non è strettamente riservato all'hotel in quanto trattasi di un'area aperta, non recintata e ad uso di chiunque vi voglia accedere.

Litt søvnig hotell, men ok beliggenhet

Hotellet er gammelt, men rommene var ok, selv om som mange nevner, sengene er knallharde. Badet var fint, men enkel standard på rommet for øvrig. Tyske pensjonister tilhører nok den viktigste kundemassen på dette hotellet. Vi var de yngste de tre nettene vi bodde der. Hadde derfor bassenget for oss selv, den dagen vi lå der. Veldig lytt, slik at man våkner tidlig av tyskerne som skal på sightseeing og av trafikken utenfor. Hotellet ligger fint til med tanke på litt reising rundt i Toscana, med kort veg til Montepulciano, Siena etc. Enkel frokost som nok er vanlig i Italia på hotell av denne standarden. Byen hadde en del gode restauranter som er lett å finne ved hjelp av Tripadviser.

Fantastic hotel with lots of charm

Super hotel outside venice with easy access by bus. The hotel has lots of charm, and the staff are super friendly and very accomodating. The pool is good too, if you want to stay there :)

Gammelt hotell i veldig rolig by

Ærverdig, men litt slitt hotell. Fine rom, men sengene var veldig harde. Tips: Ta en Ibux før du legger deg. Enkel frokost, men hyggelig betjening. Merkelig, nesten folketom by. Mange tidligere flotte hoteller, men forfalne nå. Veldig rimelig å bo der.

Lovely Staff- Interesting Experience

This Hotel is a lovely old Grand Hotel. The staff could not be kinder. WE LOVED our stay. As Americans, we have never had this type of experience. The town's economy is based almost entirely on the Terme-Health care subculture. The town is filled with hotels of all kinds. There are also very nice shops. The old part of the town is darling. We we surprised to find few restaurants. I think we sampled all of them! The town culture is that Italians get prescriptions from their doctors to take the waters of the terme. they then plan a get-away based on this. We visited most of the Terme places. we have never seen this type of thing on this level. we spent a lovely day at Sensoriale. It cost 45 Euros for a 3.5 hour visit to the spa. We brought our 12 year old twins to sample all the water therapies, saunas, aroma and music therapy as well as the therapeutic clay. We made our appt for 10AM and it is located in a huge manicured park with a lovely huge patio with many chairs. People were sitting under the trees enjoying the waters while listening to a talented night club act-all at 9:30AM!!! This site is unheard of here in the US. We had a blast. all the termes are in lovely parks in this town. Back to the hotel: This hotel puts out a huge continental type breakfast with Francesco at the helm making coffees to order and offering eggs for order too. Francesco speaks many languages and is such a warm man- no request is too much. Our room was a room for my husband and me with an additional room with twin beds for my girls. they both had a TV-all Italian language channels. this was great way for us to practice. The receptionist, Rita speaks English and could not have been more kind to us. The culture of all these hotels is such that most people take their dinners in the hotels they are staying in. We did eat there 3 night that week. The food was very good. the entire hotel waits in the lobby and has drinks and chats until 8PM. then the dinner bell is rung and everyone is shown to their tables. There is a beautiful antipasti table with stewed tomatoes, eggplant melanzane and anything else in season. It is self serve. Then Claudia brings the first course out-usually pasta and then the main course for the night. there are many choices and dietary requirements/requests are met with cheerful consideration and respect. It was a pleasant surprise how delicious all the food was. We were the only non-Italians and all the staff and guests were so friendly and sweet to us that there were tears on the morning we checked out. Everyone came to the lobby to say goodbye to us. Local Restaurant tips: High end: L'assassin-wonderful Steak Fiorentina very reasonable mid range: Tower bar at the gate of the old town of Chianciano. La BucaD'oro in the newer area-fantastic reasonable regional specialties and great pizza!!! Wonderful stay in Chianciano Terme
