"It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely. The area is stunning. "Had a lovely overnight stay. Staff were really friendly and exceptionally helpful. A really beautiful old building. Buffet breakfast was good. Had a very pleasant evening meal there too. Grounds were delightful. Stayed in one of their suites. Really spacious. "

"The staff were very helpful & informative. The breakfast buffet could have more items however it was still decent. For breakfast, we were offered vegetarian sausages seperately as the buffet did not have any vegetarian sausages. That was very thoughtful of the staff. The room had everything we required, a hairdryer, a fridge (requested earlier), a fan & were able to adjust the heating in the room. The spa facilities were nice & clean."

"Had a nice night at the George. Staff in the pub and restaurant were great. The room was large and comfortable. Bed was huge. Managed to park opposite on the public pay& display but parking could be an issue "
