"Very nice spotless room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be staying there again."

"The first unit I reserved had some issues - sliding door wouldn't open and logging into the TV, but the host moved us to another unit that was much better. We didn't know that places would be closed either due to it being off season or Easter weekend. We had to go into Banner Elk to eat and buy groceries. Just wanted to add that for people like us that don't travel to the mountains often. Overall we had a good trip, but I would stay in Banner Elk, Boone, or Blowing Rock next time."

"Amazing place to stay!"

"Sleep in is amazing very nice and quiet place. Very clean and good breakfast! Rooms are very nice and clean. Right next to downtown Boone!"

"3/5 Stars – Great staff and clean hotel, but poor room electronics and sleep environment Overall, the hotel itself is in great condition, very clean, and the staff was genuinely fantastic. However, my specific room had several frustrating issues that made the stay underwhelming. The bed was fairly average/mid-tier in terms of comfort, but the biggest issue was the room electronics. The TV's internet connection didn’t work, so I couldn't stream what I wanted. The TV also runs proprietary...

"It was a nice experience staying there, the only thing was that we ran out of hot water."

"This is a nice hotel. I've stayed here about 4 times. It's comfortable and cozy. The bed is comfy and the rooms have been clean. The staff is friendly as well. The breakfast is pretty good and has plenty of options to include options for drinks. The only issue I have is the room floors need steem cleaned. They have too many stains. Also the hallway smelled a little like dirty carpet. Last issue is someone was smoking a joint at 1am, it stunk the room and I couldn't reach anyone at the front...

"Wonderful staff and breakfast!"

"Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 6:15 pm. I was told no other rooms were available. 30 minutes after we arrived, we were provided with a room. There was no thermostat in the room, just a window unit that has manual on/off with a dial for cooling and heating. You can't set a temperature. The breakfast was very well stocked and clean."

"small rooms no windows strange bathroom"

"The rooms was nice and the staff was nice and helpful"

"Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean if you don't mind sticky floors. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. No scrambled eggs, no bacon, no pancakes, nothing but stale pastries and 2 choices of cereal. No fruit other than oranges. Our room was facing King St and I didn't get any sleep at all because of the traffic noise that went on til 3am! Not just road noise, but loud mufflers and motorcycles, constantly! The colors and patterns on the walls and shades were horrible and reminiscent of the...

"The room had a very strong, unpleasant smell. Both the carpet and the air coming from the AC had a noticeable odor, which made the room uncomfortable. On top of that, the toilet was extremely loud when flushed, sounding like a tractor. Overall, the room was not a pleasant place to stay, and the hotel needs to improve its cleanliness and maintenance."

"The property was extremely overpriced. There were minimal amenities, sparse room furnishings, hardly any staff members on-site and were unhelpful when you could find them."
