Roosevelt helped made sure our luggage was safe and secure, the front desk people that we got the right room, the housekeeper lady that we had everything, the restaurant servers as well wonderful and so were all the valet guys. "After reading some reviews prior to my stay, I had concerns. I found this hotel to be clean. The parking garage next to the hotel was very convenient. The free shuttle across from the hotel was awesome. The breakfast was amazing each day. Naquan at the front desk was very helpful. I gave 4 stars due to no bath towels when we arrived and no refill of coffee in the room the following day. I would definitely stay here on my next visit. Restaurants and attractions are nearby."

"The Tides is situated right on the beach. Great views from all of the rooms. Nice restaurant on site. The staff was exceptional. Very welcoming and attentive. The room was good. Clean and plenty of room. The slider doors are older. Didn’t slide very well and the UV protection film bubbled here and there. But overall, great place to stay. Walkable to several good restaurants. Easy drive to Charleston and the airport. "
