"Most of the staff at the front desk were not very friendly, particularly upon our initial arrival after 12 hours of travel with two very young kids. It seemed to be constant confusion as to whether the pool was opened or not, including letters saying that the outdoor pool and hot tub were closed and signs almost always up during our stay that said 'pool closed.' The breakfast and staff there was excellent. Overall, it was mostly a good visit."

"Overall the hotel was a good opinion for a 1 night stay. Was greeted right as I walked in, and got my room quickly. Room overall was nice, but after looking harder you can notice that there is a lot of wear occuring in the room especially in the bathroom. Room looked clean, but just things are showing signs of age (i.e. caulking in the shower, missing grout in the tile, etc). Wifi did not work for me, but I also did not try to ask the desk about fixing it, which I assume by the serve they would have tried. Breakfast was good overall, just a variety of items to grab and go. Was disappointed that the juice machine wasn't working, as all i normally have in the morning is OJ, but the food options were good."

"The staff are all friendly and helpful. The property is clean and the pool was well maintained. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean, friendly atmosphere traveling to Ft. Wayne."

"Don’t judge this book by its cover. The room was newly built and super clean. The motel rooms are above the truck stop and liquor store. The Gallops Motel is part of a cafe/truck stop/liquor store that was built to resemble an actual castle. The rooms were huge with a large bathroom, full living area with multiple couches and our bedroom had matching king sized beds. Had a great stay for a great price."
