"35 years after last staying at this place, we returned for a long weekend. Perfect staff, remarkable food in a Michelin starred restaurant, and lovely grounds. "Staff very helpful. Hotel is well located. Walkable to town centre. Good bar and other restaurants nearby. However, the building is looking tired. We booked this hotel because it came up after using a “pool” filter. In the event, there was no pool. And the fitness centre was closed."
