"Nice hotel with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast had a variety of options and was tasty. The room was clean and spacious with a large bed. Nice hot shower with strong water pressure. Great location, close to the bus stop for Machu Picchu and options to eat. Only troubles: there was construction going on right in front of the hotel, so if your room is facing that direction you will hear the noise during the day. Also the windows aren’t soundproof so you can hear everyone...

The room did not in the slightest look like the pictures. It was a stuffy, tiny room with no window to outside; rather, it opened to some kind of shaft that allowed no fresh air. The hotel is located at a higher elevation in Aguas Calientes, which makes carrying luggage there quite difficult. I asked the reception if they could assist with luggage transportation, especially since several other hotels in the area offer complimentary luggage transfers, but they were unwilling to help.
