"What a wonderful stay! We decided to spluge a little since Na Balam costs more than the budget hotels we usually frequent. It was worth every penny! Such a cozy little resort with a jungle feel, but you cross the street for your complimentary sumptious breakfast, and right outside the restaurant is the beach! "Very clean room and nice boutique hotel on the east side of the island. Right on the beach. The water here is not suitable for swimming. But the water is so nice with lots fish in it. We stayed for 4 nights here. Can’t recommend it more. We initially wanted to stay on the strip or playa Norte. Very glad we didn’t. It’s away from the party crowed at night for a good night sleep. My boyfriend did fell asleep on the chair outside the balcony and got so many bite. So if you want to sleep on...

"When we arrived we were greeted warmly by a young woman named Leira! She checked us in and showed us to our room. What a surprise! The studio is huge, with a kitchen, huge terrace with incredible ocean views and a very nice bathroom. Daily cleaning service was a nice surprise as well.
