"The management have done a great job renovating this building into an affordable and very comfortable experience. The common areas were pretty old (stairs etc) but the priority is the room which was clean, modernized and comfortable. The bathroom was nicely renovated (although it could have used hooks for towels and space shelf for soap but these are minor inconveniences). The staff were always welcoming. The Pembroke provided very good value for the money. "

"Safe for a single female traveller. A little hard to find at night due to small sign. Staff was helpful, pod was a welcome respite for sleeping, breakfast was coffee, toast, cereal. I would stay here again!"

"Front staff were very welcoming & gave us great recommendations for dining. Our room was very spacious and super clean. The walking trails nearby were in excellent condition. The proximity to Vetta Spa was a big bonus. A little updating in the decor dept would be an area for improvement, but the decor certainly would not stop us from booking again. Definitely recommend. "

"Have not taken the airport shuttle this time. But the hotel was easy to get if you have a rental car. And there were plenty of free hotel parking spots."
