"Beautiful location within close proximity of all of the best restaurants in Cascais. Room was nicely furnished and the shower was good in the bathroom. Although our room was next to the kitchen, we didn’t ever notice any noise, nor did we notice any from other guests in the hotel too. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were delicious - good range of choices. Would definitely consider staying again!"

"This is a stylish and comfortable boutique hotel in the most lovely setting in Cascais, The rooms are very well equipped - our room was at the front of the hotel and we opened the windows each morning to the view of a wide promenade and beyond it, a small sandy beach. A real find! "

"40 minute commuter train ride to Lisbon. Great option if you want to stay in a quieter place than Lisbon. Hotel is in an old citadel. Short walk to Cascais and dining."

"nothing like what expedia has the property described as . "waterfront" - no where near. "Situated on the boardwalk" no where near. One hand towel provided for 2 people and extra charges advertised for extra towlels/change within 3 days. Needed maintenance. The door had large gaps around, didn't lock properly. Shower curtain was filthy along the bottom. Outside areas run down and needed some cleaning & painting . double the usual nightly rate for Tom Jones concert but really wasn't worth...
