We had the best 4 night stay. The staff was great. The hotel was clean and safe, beds very comfy. The dock and beach area were very inviting. There are several bars and restaurants close by but not so close that you could hear them. The breakfast menu had lots of options and the cook fantastic. The heart of Caye Caulker was a short walk. This hotel offered everything in a quiet area of town. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Ashton Court over Spring Break was wonderful. We rented a three bedroom condominium that faced the water. Had a balcony with beautiful views, condo was updated and very nice. Nice pool and bar that we used on the days we weren't at the beach or on the water. The staff was excellent, always available, made all our dinner reservations, security guard onsite all night and the owner, Ken, was there the entire week we were. He was a pleasure to talk to and made our stay fantastic, he was very accommodating to all our asks and needs. I highly recommend Ashton Court to anyone considering the beautiful island of Caye Caulker!

Spacious room with a very comfortable bed, walk in closet and beautiful bathroom in a quiet location close to centre of town, managed by very friendly staff. The property's design was puzzling, however, very much "form over function", leaving us offput by the austere (icy, actually) lack of colour. Even minimalist styling can use a few pieces of art or pops of colour to add life. There is no private balcony for enjoying the lovely view and insufficient chairs for the shared balcony, creating some tension between neighbours. Drapes were difficult to open and close, making it difficult to enjoy the view when we thought our neighbours might not walk by our large windows, and then close them again for privacy. If having a view or natural light isn't important to you, rent a cheaper garden view room and enjoy the pretty private beach with private pier in front of the property.

Property is pretty south on the south side. Newer place, that was beautiful. No resturant on site currently. Bar in lobby. Couple issues we had; the bathroom doors are sliding barndoor style- 6 inches in width to short on eachside leaving gaps...ours would not stay shut constantly rolling open. I brought this to the reception and owners attention immediately. Day 4 it was addressed, but only stayed shut half the time. Quite an issue when traveling with someone other than family. Doors are impossible to lock & unlock.. our room was left unlocked half the stay. Other issue was the snotty reception and her "towel" issues. You check beach towels out, return for new ones. After a torrential downpour we tried exchanging them to be scolded like children that "it hasnt been 24 hours yet". I also had to ask her for room towels as we were given 2 (for 3 guests).. This interaction was overheard by owner who did rectify it and told her to at least give us enough for number of guests. It was quite ridiculous. Also had "management" in our room unauthorized while we were out one day- we were told by another hotel guest. (Unrelated to fixing door). This is a nice place, quiet.. but a bit over priced for no privacy and to be reprimanded/stingy about towels!
