"We were less happy with the room on this occasion, dark sombre furniture, a dusty desk and no view. There was a spacious modernized bath & shower room however. There is a lift for rooms at the front and some stairs for rooms at the back so an odd mix of different levels. Splendid parkland very well maintained. We enjoyed the "Greek night" and the breakfast was equally good so happy with the food and service."

"We stayed for one night and didn’t have any expectation. The room is very clean with good selection of tea and coffee. The staff checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We dined in the pub and the staff in the pub was extremely friendly. We would love to stay with them again."

"Clean and convenient for my stay. Internal security is still not activated (security doors to get to rooms) but the rooms are good and facilities excellent. I didn’t use the attached restaurant/bar, so can’t comment on those."

"Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and polite, even moved me from a room in the inn to an annexe room so I could be away from noise from bar. Also had a very good breakfast which is extra but excellent value for money. Definitely recommend it hotel and breakfast."

"Everything was perfect "

"The room was decorated very nicely, but the door for room 8 did not fit the frame very well and light came in all around the door and along the bottom. Also this was not a fire door, which my wife was very concerned about. As we did not check in until after 10pm, the night manager did offer us a different room, but stated all the doors were the same. She was also concerned as the lock did not work. When I booked the room on the confirmation email it did say about some noise, but our room was directly adjacent to the fans for the kitchens and these were running all night. I had a cooked breakfast which was average, my wife had croissants and a fruit salad with yoghurt. The croissants were very nice and there was plenty of jam, but the fruit salad contained several pieces of fruit that were past their best."
