Well appointed property in excellent city location near restaurants, shopping, night life and mini marts. It’s in the heart of all the action yet its not noisy and 3 mi Ute walk to Piazza del Duomo. Great hospitality and very safe! Would highly recommend this property.

Historic building and legacy owners managing the property. The rooms were clean, and there was shared common spaces if you wished to use them which provide provided options. Lots of space, comfortable. We were greeted by Luciano, he gave us information and a warm welcome. Extra parking arrangements were made in a secure parking location. We were very happy with the edge of the ZTL accommodation and parking. Very handy. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and felt very safe. The property is a little hidden away and I loved that because it was very quiet to catch a nap after the long flight. The AC was a god send in the summer heat. The staff communicated fast and clearly when I had a little issue finding the right elevator. It was absolutely my fault for not reading carefully, and they guided me right away. 10/10 would stay again when I'm in town.

Pro: - They have extra large rooms and bathrooms - the AC works well - extremely well located Cons: - barely any street parking and if you do find it you have to battle with the machines and pray they take a credit card and you understand the instructions in Italian - the shower was small but the shower entrance was miniscule.. im fat and could barely get in. It hurt me. - there are three steps to go up and another three to go down to the very old , tiny elevator but then there are 25 marble stairs to move your suitcases to the rooms and its painful - old and outdated bed covers/sheets and bad springy mattress - there is no one at the check in so to access the courtyard you need to correspond via WhatsApp with management and pray they answer your message. After 8pm they are not available . - there is a parking they work with which is NOT next door and its $15 but needs to be reserved in advance however they might forget and tell you there is no space when in fact you reserved it before

This property is nestled within a residential building making it feel like an authentic Sicilian stay. Communication with the property via Whatsapp was outstanding; clear instructions on check-in. The manager who met us was very helpful advising on places to eat, airport transfers and local tours. The room itself was large and had great facilities - a kettle, fridge, air conditioning and TV - everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic and the real highlight for us. A stones throw from the amphitheater, the main square and good transport links (buses) to the airport. The only thing that was an issue was the noise from the street but that is to be expected in a busy city centre - nothing a set of earplugs can't solve. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

Very disappointing: needs upgrading

Very disappointed overall. Website ticked breakfast available. For breakfast we were directed to a restaurant nearby. The website ticked daily housekeeping. A notice was provided in the room that linen would be changed only every third day. We stayed 3 nights: the last 3 of a 10 day tour of Sicily: Temp of 32 degrees means multiple showers per day..with 1 set of towels? On request, 2 extra large towels were actually provided at no charge. No cleaning was done during our stay and the floor in the bedroom was old and dirty. The bed creaked. The bathroom was not at all of a modern standard and one had to climb into the bath to have a shower and pull across an accordian type panel to prevent water leaking out. The hosts were excellent with information, etc but the actual product was not of an acceptable standard. Further, this building housed 4 different B and B's on just one side of the courtyard so there were always people coming and going and as the stairs are open, this could be very concerning from a security point of view. In fact the main gate entrance was left open a number of times during our stay.
